Published this Tuesday (18), the information from think tank Funda\u00e7\u00e3o Getulio Vargas (FGV)\u2019s GDP Monitor report also shows that the economy remained stable year-over-year.<\/p>\n<p>Considering only the month of April, GDP slid 0.1% over March and 0.3% year-over-year. In the 12 months through April, GDP was up 0.6%.<\/p>\n<p>The 0.9% decline saw in the three months through April over the three months through January, was driven by declines in the three major productive sectors, with services down 0.2% on the back of transports (1.7%). Industry was down 1.3% influenced by mineral extraction (-7.2%).
