Its initial production capacity is 100,000 cars per year, a volume set to reach 200,000 units by 2023. The information is from the news agency <a href=\"http:\/\/www.map.ma\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>MAP<\/em><\/a>. The vehicles will have a local integration rate of 60% as a start and 80% by the end of the project.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>MAP<\/em>, 27 industries from ten different countries are already installed in Kenitra as suppliers for the PSA group. The place also features a research and development center that employs 2,300 people, 85% of which are engineers.<\/p>\n<p>According to Morocco\u2019s minister of Industry and Trade Moulay Hafid Elalami, the French manufacturer invested DH 3 billion (USD 311 million) in the enterprise and intends to invest more in the country.
