Diab will receive the Pedro Ernesto medal, granted to prominent people in Brazilian society. The ceremony will be held to mark the Syrian national day, which is April 17th.<\/P><br \/> <P>The tribute was approved by request of alderman Sami Jorge Haddad Abdulmacih (PDT), and will be held at Plenary Teot\u00f4nio Villela at 06:30 pm. After the session, a book will be launched entitled &quot;Portuguese for Arab Speakers&quot;, written by Professors Jo\u00e3o Baptista de Medeiros, Geni Harb, Suely Ferreira Lima, Bianca Graziela da Silva, and Heloisa Ellery de Menezes.
