The company reached the figure of 25,967 units sold, against 19,454 vehicles in the first five months of 2006. This expansion is greater than the average growth of the Brazilian auto industry, whose sales rose 24% in the period.<\/P><br \/> <P>In May alone, Renault Brazil sold 5,405 units. The volume is 23.2% greater than that registered in May 2006, when the company sold 4,387 units. Of the total traded in the month, the M\u00e9gane family, made up of the M\u00e9gane Sedan and the station wagon M\u00e9gane Grand Tour, answered to 28.4% of the sales mix.<\/P><br \/> <P>Renault Brazil has also been expanding its export volume. In the accumulated result for the period from January to May this year, exports grew 32.1% and reached the volume of 8,203 units against 6,209 vehicles exported in the same period in 2006.
