The result drove the weekly surplus up to US$ 738 million, and the monthly surplus after 18 business days up to US$ 2.401 billion. The figures were taken from the bulletin disclosed today (27th) by the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.<\/P><br \/> <P>In the result for the year, exports stand at US$ 98.952 billion, a 14.8% increase over the same period of last year. Nevertheless, imports have been increasing more than exports in percentage terms (27%), at US$ 72.566 billion.
