The event will continue until August 20 at the Carthage Amphitheater near Tunis, featuring music, dance and performing arts attractions. Russia\u2019s Saint Petersburg Ballet will kick off the event with Tchaikovsky\u2019s Swan Lake. \u201cThe Carthage Amphitheater will be the first theater in Africa to welcome the Russian Ballet,\u201d news outlet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tap.info.tn\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><em>TAP<\/em><\/a> quoted festival director Mokhtar Rassaa as saying.<\/p>\n<p>Japan\u2019s Awa dance will be featured on Wednesday (12). On Monday (15), there\u2019ll be performances by artists in different styles, from countries including Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, Palestine, Algeria, Morocco, Jordan, Ecuador, United States, China and France. The closing act will be Tunisian singer-songwriter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.saberrebai.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Saber Rebai<\/a>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_251682\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-251682\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/fic3.png\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-251682 size-medium\" src=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/fic3-300x175.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"175\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/fic3-300x175.png 300w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/fic3.png 750w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-251682\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Rassaa stressed the importance of financial support from festival goers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>There will be 32 performances, including ballet, theater, comedy, concerts and attractions for kids. Ticket prices range from TND 20-80 (USD 6.70-26.80), depending on the event and seat location. According to him, the budget for this year is TND 5 million (USD 1.67 million), TND 2 million (USD 670,000) of which are provided by the Ministry of Cultural Affairs. Its ruins were discovered in the 19<sup>th<\/sup> century.
