Q1 2018 had seen a 2.4% drop in oil and gas GDP, according to <em>APS<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>GDP growth was fueled by services (5.6%), industry (4.6%), construction, public works and water works (3%) and agriculture (2.7%). Construction and public works include oil industry projects.<\/p>\n<p>Non-mercantile services (\u201cservices non marchands\u201d) saw 1.7% growth. The French expression includes real estate, financial services and public administration.<\/p>\n<p><em>APS<\/em> reported that Algeria\u2019s GDP was up 1.9% at current values year-on-year in Q1.<\/p>\n<p>It also said the general price index (inflation) was up 0.4% in Q1 2019.
