{"id":253458,"date":"2019-07-31T11:17:15","date_gmt":"2019-07-31T14:17:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=253458"},"modified":"2019-07-31T12:32:36","modified_gmt":"2019-07-31T15:32:36","slug":"auctions-to-spread-knowledge-on-pre-salt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/auctions-to-spread-knowledge-on-pre-salt\/","title":{"rendered":"Auctions to spread knowledge on pre-salt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rio de Janeiro \u2013 The superintendent for Block Definition at Brazil\u2019s National Agency for Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP), Juliana Vieira, said this Tuesday (30) during a technical seminar on the 16<sup>th<\/sup> Exploration Block Bidding Round and 6<sup>th<\/sup> Pre-Salt Production Sharing Round, in Rio de Janeiro, that these auctions are designed to spread knowledge of Brazilian sedimentary basins and pre-salt layer, attract new investments to Brazil, increase domestic reserves and production and decentralize investment in exploration in the country.<\/p>\n<p>The 16<sup>th<\/sup> Round will see 36 blocks on offer; the 6<sup>th<\/sup> Pre-Salt Round will auction five blocks. \u201cThe second half will be intense,\u201d said the ANP superintendent.
