The Chamber\u2019s mission is to connect Brazilians and Arabs wherever they are, and Germany has a large Arab community estimated at 500,000. Brazil is a big producer of halal food, that is, proper for Muslim consumption.<\/p>\n<p>Anuga is a fair that has ran every second year for 100 years. The last one was held in 2017 <em>(pictured)<\/em>. The show expects to attract around 165,000 visitors from 198 countries, as well as 7,400 exhibitors.<\/p>\n<p>The Arab Brazilian Chamber\u2019s pavilion will have room for five companies, which will be benefited from an individual stand, material on dealing with Arabs, a translator, support from the Chamber\u2019s staff, promotion material, and others. It\u2019s worthy reminding that exhibitors won\u2019t show their products only to Arab businesspeople but for attendees from all over the world.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, the Chamber participated in <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/halal-day-at-sial-yields-deals-to-brazilian-company\/\">Sial Paris<\/a>, France, another large worldwide food trade show, which runs in alternate years to Anuga.\u00a0In 2019, the Arab Brazilian Chamber participated in <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/arabs-find-new-prospective-suppliers-in-brazil\/\">Anufood<\/a> in S\u00e3o Paulo, a food trade show held by Anuga\u2019s organizers. The Chamber took Arab suppliers and importers to the event.<\/p>\n<p>The Arab countries are the top market of Brazilian beef and poultry abroad and the second largest market of Brazilian agribusiness. Agribusiness exports to the Arab world grossed USD 4.6 billion year-to-date through July, up 9% year-over-year, the Arab Brazilian Chamber reported.
