The decision is part of the United Arab Emirates government\u2019s Strategy for Artificial Intelligence and the Dubai government Smart City initiative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe initiative aims to measure customers\u2019 happiness index through smart cameras that analyze the extent of their happiness. The technology analyzes the facial expressions of customers, without saving images in respect of their privacy, before and after processing their transactions at the center. Accordingly, the technology gives an instant and accurate indicator of customers\u2019 happiness,\u201d Maher Shirah, director of smart Services at the RTA\u2019s Corporate Technology Support Services Sector, was quoted as saying on the <em>Arabian Business<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The equipment was manufactured in the UAE and can take 30 frames per second at a seven-meter range within an angle of 65 degrees. The camera has an autofocus feature with no flash required and can minimize the light cluster to enable accurate reading of the facial expression.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe smart happiness index monitors the variation in customers\u2019 happiness level from the moment of stepping into the center until the time of leaving and links it with the level of service delivered.
