{"id":257986,"date":"2019-09-23T16:26:17","date_gmt":"2019-09-23T19:26:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=257986"},"modified":"2019-09-23T17:00:14","modified_gmt":"2019-09-23T20:00:14","slug":"tunisia-morocco-to-join-travel-industrys-abav-expo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/tunisia-morocco-to-join-travel-industrys-abav-expo\/","title":{"rendered":"Tunisia, Morocco to join travel industry\u2019s ABAV Expo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Arab countries Tunisia and Morocco will have stands at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.abavexpo.com.br\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">47<sup>th<\/sup> ABAV International Tourism Expo<\/a>, from September 25 to 27 at Expo Center Norte, in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/p>\n<p>Stand EC123, in the show\u2019s Collaborative Area, will comprise Tunisia\u2019s National Tourism Office (ONTT) and four travel agencies. The economic charg\u00e9 d\u2019affaires with the Embassy of Tunisia in Bras\u00edlia, Mohamed Amin Sayeb, told ANBA that the goal is to advertise Tunisia as a travel destination and spread information about the North African country, as well as to connect with Brazilian travel agencies. \u201cWe got 2,200 Brazilian tourists in 2018, and our goal is to see 5,000 in 2020 and as many as 10,000 in 2022,\u201d said Sayeb.<\/p>\n<p>This will be Morocco\u2019s sixth stint at the expo, with a 13-strong pavilion featuring carrier Royal Air Maroc and agencies including Terratour, Sirocotours, Groupe Xaluca, and Atlas Outdoor. The stand is E060, opposite the Panrotas stand.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Moroccan National Tourism Office director general for Brazil and Portugal, Abdellatif Achachi, <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/morocco-stands-out-at-abav-expo-2018\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">spoke with ANBA during the event<\/a>. \u201cThe goal in joining the travel expo is to offer a platform for Moroccan professionals out here to do business directly with their Brazilian clients. This makes doing business easier,\u201d he said. Pictured above is Morocco\u2019s stand last year.<\/p>\n<p>ABAV Expo 2019 is themed <em>Transforms \u2013 Tourism for new challenges<\/em>.
