Last month, spending reached USD 1.309 billion, down 5.24% from a year ago, the Central Bank of Brazil (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bcb.gov.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BC<\/a>) reported this Monday (23).<\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date, Brazilians\u2019 spending abroad were also lower. Spending reached USD 12.014 billion, down 5.3% year-on-year.<\/p>\n<p>Spending by foreign visitors to Brazil also decreased to USD 464 million last month and USD 4.138 billion year-to-date, down 3.84% and 0.04% respectively compared to last year.
