Saudis bought 35,000 tonnes for USD 56 million, down 26% in volume and 28% in revenue year-on-year. Saudi Arabia is the third main buyer of poultry from Brazil abroad, behind China and Japan. The figures were made public by Brazilian Animal Protein Association (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.abpa-br.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ABPA<\/a>) this Friday (4).<\/p>\n<p>Fourth main buyer of chicken meat from Brazil, the UAE received 21,600 tonnes for USD 33.9 million, down 9% in volume and 8% in revenue,<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, poultry product sales to smaller Arab markets skyrocketed. Egypt bought 4,600 tonnes, grossing USD 6.1 million, up 83% in volume and 95% in revenue.
