In addition to the Chamber\u2019s work in fostering deals, its stand features <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arbaza.com.br\/site\/public\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Arbaza<\/a>, a Brazilian company that deals in pulses.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe show is living up to our expectations. It\u2019s a gigantic event. The contacts are very high quality. The stand is getting a significant amount of Arab and Brazilian visitors looking to do business. This is an absolutely global fair,\u201d said Arab Chamber Marketing and Strategy director Janine Bezerra de Menezes.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_259270\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-259270\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-10-07-at-14.17.10.jpeg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-259270\" src=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-10-07-at-14.17.10-300x225.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-10-07-at-14.17.10-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-10-07-at-14.17.10-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/anba.com.br\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/WhatsApp-Image-2019-10-07-at-14.17.10.jpeg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-259270\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">From L to R, Barbosa, Menezes, Cristina and Jaguaribe<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The most sought-after items so far were animal protein, rice, sugar, coffee, and grains in general.<\/p>\n<p>According to Menezes, the stand at Anuga is a good space in which to promote the Chamber\u2019s new service \u2013 membership for Arab companies. \u201cWe\u2019re advertising our Arab membership services, the benefits we provide, and it\u2019s generating lots of interest,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>During the trade show\u2019s opening on Saturday (5), the Arab Chamber stand was visited by Brazil\u2019s minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply Tereza Cristina; Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (<a href=\"https:\/\/portal.apexbrasil.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Apex-Brasil<\/a>), president Sergio Segovia Barbosa; and Brazil\u2019s ambassador to Berlin Roberto Jaguaribe.<\/p>\n<p>Anuga 2019 features 7,590 exhibitors from around the world, and 165,000 fairgoers from 198 countries are expected.
