The Extended National Consumer Price Index 15 (IPCA-15) \u2013 the official measure of inflation in the country \u2013 made public this Tuesday (22) is the lowest since 0.01% in October 1998.<\/p>\n<p>The Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) reported inflation of 2.69% year-to-date through October 15, and 2.72% in the 12 months through October 15.<\/p>\n<p>Health and personal care at 0.85% inflation and transportation at 0.35% drove up the IPCA-15 result.
