The event on foreign direct investment includes an exhibition and a conference featuring specialist speakers. AIM is slated to run from March 24 to 26 2020 in Dubai, UAE.<\/p>\n<p>State news outlet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aen.pr.gov.br\/modules\/noticias\/article.php?storyid=104278&amp;tit=Parana-e-convidado-a-expor-seus-projetos-a-investidores-em-Dubai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ag\u00eancia de Not\u00edcias do Paran\u00e1<\/a> reported that the invitation was made by the AIM\u2019s regional director for Latin America and the Caribbean, Astrid Chedid (<em>pictured above with governor Ratinho Junior<\/em>), on behalf of the UAE Ministry of Economy. Chedid met this Monday (21) with governor Carlos Massa Ratinho Junior at government seat Pal\u00e1cio Igua\u00e7u.<\/p>\n<p>Paran\u00e1 has been to <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/investment-latin-america-shifting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">past editions of AIM<\/a>\u00a0and is planning on using the platform to attract investment. During the meeting, Ratinho Junior presented an investment portfolio worth BRL 350 million (USD 85 million).<\/p>\n<p>The portfolio includes road infrastructure projects worth BRL 290 million (USD 70 million). There\u2019s also a BRL 40 million (USD 9.6 million) project regards the Foz do Igua\u00e7u-Cascavel and Dourados-Paranagu\u00e1 railways and a BRL 20 million (USD 4.8 million) project in public safety, including a Police City, penitentiaries, forensics and batalions.<\/p>\n<p>AIM 2020 will be themed <em>Investing for the Future: Shaping Global Investment Strategies<\/em>.
