On the 30<sup>th<\/sup>, the Committee reduced Selic from 5.5% to 5% this year.<\/p>\n<p>With inflation projections at \u201ccomfortable levels,\u201d Copom suggested a new cut on the interest rate. \u201cCopom discussed the convenience of offering a new perspective on possible scenarios for the monetary policy.
