Brazil shipped 1.4 million pairs to the Arab country year-to-date through October from 792,000 from a year ago.

Revenue grossed by the footwear industry also increased from sales to the UAE. The Arab country spent USD 10.6 million with Brazilian shoe purchases year-to-date through October from USD 7.8 million a year ago. But the increase in revenue was less substantial than in volume, reaching 35%.

This is because Brazil sold shoes to the UAE for smaller average prices this year than in 2018. The value of the pair traded a year ago was at USD 9.96 and was down to USD 7.35 year-to-date, down 26.2%. The price stood below the overall average value of footwear exports from Brazil, which was at USD 8.56 this year.

Brazil overall exports increased both in volume and value year-to-date through October. The country exported 93.3 million pairs, up 3.9% year-on-year. Revenue from sales reached USD 798.8 million, up 0.6%.

Translated by Guilherme Miranda

Couromoda

Exports of the Brazilian product to the Arab country reached 1.4 million pairs year-to-date through October, up 83%.

[91
12485,26547,1867,2981,12486
0":"post-261729","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-economy","8":"tag-emirados-calcados","9":"tag-exportacao-de-calcados-en","10":"tag-footwear","11":"tag-footwear-exports","12":"tag-footwear-uae
Exports of the Brazilian product to the Arab country reached 1.4 million pairs year-to-date through October, up 83%.
["GET
