Exports grossed USD 441.1 million, down 14.7% from a year ago, the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cecafe.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Cecaf\u00e9<\/a>) reported this Monday (11).<\/p>\n<p>The bag average price slid by 1.8%. In October 2018, exports had hit a record-high for the month.<\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date through October, 34 million bags were exported, up 22.8% from a year ago. Revenue reached USD 4.3 billion, up 4.6%.<\/p>\n<p>Despite last month\u2019s decline, the shipped volume year-to-date is the highest for the period in the last five years, Cecaf\u00e9 reported.<\/p>\n<p>According to Cecaf\u00e9, the results from the foreign sales in the 12 months through October at 41.9 million bags may mean that exports in 2019 may hit an annual record-high.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arabs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Regarding the Arab countries, exports almost reached 1.5 million bags year-to-date through October, up 17.1% from a year ago.
