Their schedule will include two seminars to present opportunities to Brazilian businesspeople in trade with Arab countries. The seminars will take place on Tuesday (26) in Itaja\u00ed, Santa Catarina and Wednesday (27) in S\u00e3o Paulo, S\u00e3o Paulo. The events and the mission are being organized by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ccab.org.br\/en\/home\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong><\/a>. Registration is open for companies looking to attend.<\/p>\n<p>The mission will also include delegates from <a href=\"https:\/\/www.adports.ae\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Abu Dhabi Ports<\/a> \u2013 whose operations include Khalifa Port and the Khalifa Industrial Zone \u2013 and from Dubai Exports, which works to encourage exports from the United Arab Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>The seminars will see top Abu Dhabi Ports and KIZAD executives discuss the advantages of investing in the latter and relying on the former to engage in trade with the Arab world. Dubai Exports will make a presentation on Brazilian experiences in the UAE. Arab Brazilian Chamber secretary-general Tamer Mansour claims that the organization\u2019s partnership for this mission is the result of work done by the Chamber\u2019s international office in Dubai.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMore and more, the UAE are becoming a logistics hub for Arab and non-Arab countries alike in that region. This is a great opportunity for companies to join in, seeing as the UAE are a very major hub. That would greatly increase visibility and recognition for Brazilian goods in other countries across the region,\u201d Mansour told ANBA. Brazil\u2019s food company BRF has a unit within KIZAD.<\/p>\n<p>Arab Chamber commercial manager Daniella Leite said that through this initiative, the organization intends to offer its member companies a broader range of opportunities and options in trade with Arab countries. \u201cBringing these delegations is a way of showcasing other options, other avenues for companies to make their products more competitive. To show them that easier, more affordable logistics is feasible,\u201d said Leite.<\/p>\n<p>The delegates will be in Itaja\u00ed and surroundings on November 25 and 26 for meetings with local authorities and executives from companies whose sales to the Gulf can potentially increase, as well as visits to seaports. In S\u00e3o Paulo, from the 27<sup>th<\/sup> to the 29<sup>th<\/sup>, besides the seminar, they will also meet with executives, as well as delegates from seaports in several states. They will also meet with the Arab Chamber board and visit seaports.<\/p>\n<p>On the 27<sup>th<\/sup>, during the seminar in S\u00e3o Paulo, the Arab Chamber and KIZAD will enter into a memorandum of understanding for promoting Brazil-UAE trade and sharing information, among other initiatives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBusiness Opportunities at KIZAD\u201d will run from 8:30am to the early morning, both in Itaja\u00ed on the 26<sup>th<\/sup> and S\u00e3o Paulo on the 27<sup>th<\/sup>. The seminar is primarily intended for Arab Chamber members, but would-be attendees can check for availability.
