The result was made public this Tuesday (3) by the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE). Year-on-year in Q3, GDP widened by 1.2%.<\/p>\n<p>In the 12 months through Q3, GDP climbed 1%. Year-to-date through September also saw 1% growth.<\/p>\n<p>Brazil\u2019s GDP was BRL 1.842 trillion in Q3 2019. Agriculture saw the strongest growth at 1.3%, followed by industry, up 0.8%, and services, up 0.4% quarter-on-quarter.<\/p>\n<p>On the expenditure side, gross fixed capital formation (up 2%) and consumption by households (up 0.8%) stood out. Government consumption spending was down 0.4% quarter-on-quarter.
