The number is a 5.1% increase from a year before, according to data released by the emirate\u2019s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitdubai.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dubai Tourism<\/a>) published this Tuesday (21) on the <em>Emirates News Agency (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.wam.ae\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WAM<\/a>)<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>According to <em>WAM<\/em>, tourism contributes 11.5% in Dubai\u2019s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). International tourism spending reached USD 27.9 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Top source markets are India, Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom, Oman, China, and Russia, delivering 7 million visitors in 2019. Then come the United States, Germany, Pakistan, and Philippines.
