Consumption reached 32.8 billion liters, up 10.5% from a year ago.<\/p>\n<p>The consumption of hydrated ethanol, which is used pure as fuel, accounted for 22.5 billion liters of this number, while the remaining 10.3 billion liters were anhydrous ethanol, an addictive to gasoline.
