{"id":269281,"date":"2020-03-12T16:54:32","date_gmt":"2020-03-12T19:54:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=269281"},"modified":"2020-03-12T17:16:57","modified_gmt":"2020-03-12T20:16:57","slug":"abu-dhabi-non-oil-trade-reaches-usd-58-bn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/abu-dhabi-non-oil-trade-reaches-usd-58-bn\/","title":{"rendered":"Abu Dhabi non-oil trade reaches USD 58 bn"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The non-oil trade through Abu Dhabi ports, the United Arab Emirates\u2019 capital city, was down by 5.4%, to USD 58.08 billion in 2019, according to figures released this Thursday (12) by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scad.gov.ae\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Statistics Centre \u2013 Abu Dhabi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The figures showed a 9.2% decrease in imports from USD 30.77 billion in 2018 to USD 27.91 billion in 2019 and a 10.1% decrease in exports, to USD 15.7 billion, while the value of re-exports increased by 9.8% year-on-year, to USD 14.38 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Manufactures topped the list of most exported merchandise, amounting to USD 12.25. Food and beverage exports grossed USD 1.63 billion, and consumer goods amounted to USD 933.9 million.<\/p>\n<p>Transport equipment and parts took the lion\u2019s share of re-exports during the period, amounting to USD 6.56 billion, followed by consumer goods, at USD 2.76 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Manufactures also topped the emirate\u2019s imports list, accounting for USD 11.7 billion, followed by transport equipment and parts, at USD 6.7 billion.<\/p>\n<p>Saudi Arabia was Abu Dhabi\u2019s largest trade partner, accounting for USD 15.06 billion, followed by the United States at USD 3.58 billion.
