A country\u2019s balance of payments consists of its transaction with the rest of the world, including imports. <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/egito-respondeu-rapido-a-covid-19-diz-diretora-do-fmi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">As reported by ANBA last April<\/a>,\u00a0IMF director Kristalina Georgieva lauded Egypt\u2019s response to coronavirus, and spoke in favor of the emergency support.<\/p>\n<p>In approving the request, the IMF Executive Board said the country carried out a successful economic reform program supported by the IMF\u2019s Extended Fund Facility (EFF) to correct large external and domestic imbalances.
