The speaker is Ahmad Serrieh, director general of the Department of Antiques and Museums of Syria and member of the board of the Arab-Syrian Cultural Centre, in S\u00e3o Paulo.<\/P> Syria was the scenery for several human migratory movements and the crib for several large civilizations, like the Babylonian, Phoenician and Arab.
