In a bid to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus, the food fest will see typical Arab dishes delivered to people\u2019s doorsteps. The fair takes place each year since 2018 courtesy of the Institute of Arab-Brazilian Culture (Icab), with support from the Federation of Arab Entities in Brazil. <em>Pictured is an exhibitor cooking an Arab dish during the 2<sup>nd<\/sup> edition of the fair<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>This year, the event will take place on June 27 and 28. Icab will make the menu available on its social media so people can place their orders. The food will be supplied by Icab-selected chefs and restaurants specializing in Arab cuisine.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time ever, the fair will also feature attractions on Icab\u2019s Instagram and Facebook pages, including a tour of Icab\u2019s facilities and art interventions by Icab music and dance teachers. An excerpt from a book selected by the Icab Book Club will be in discussion, also in June, and also online.<\/p>\n<p>Organizers said orders can be placed ahead of time. Some restaurants will offer takeout options.<\/p>\n<p>Icab will bridge the gap between customers and establishments.
