At least five Arab countries \u2013 Egypt, Libya, Kuwait, Yemen and Qatar \u2013 stepped up their imports in H1.<\/p>\n<p>Raw and processed poultry exports came out to 342,000 tons in June, down 12.4% from a year ago. Revenue was down 31% to USD 446 million. Year-to-date through June, shipped volume was up 1.7% to 2.106 million tons, with revenue sliding 8.8% to USD 3.1 billion.<\/p>\n<p>China was the leading importer of Brazilian poultry in H1, with imports up 32%. Sales to Singapore, the Philippines and Vietnam also went up. \u201cSales increased to African nations such as Egypt, Libya and Angola, as well as Arab nations such as Kuwait, Yemen and Qatar.
