According to the UNWTO, 40% of destinations worldwide have loosened their grip on restrictions put in place in response to Covid-19.<\/p>\n<p>The organization has been monitoring the pandemic\u2019s impact on the industry from the onset. Back on June 15, only 22% of destinations had eased restrictions. As of May 15, the rate was 3%. According to the UNWTO, the numbers point to a slow industry adaptation and a responsible resumption of activity.
