This year will see the event honor the Syrian-Lebanese community in Brazil, from 10am to 6pm on September 12 and 13 on Icab\u2019s social media. <em>Pictured above is a performance from the 2019 edition in Bras\u00edlia<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The event is free of charge and intended for people interested in Arab tradition, art and history. The program will include live streams featuring specialists in different fields, dance and music performances, and interviews.<\/p>\n<p>One of the live streams will feature Dulcinea Cassis, a second-generation Lebanese psychologist who will discuss \u201cFood and Emotional Memory.\u201d Jorge Ghachache and Jos\u00e9 Oswaldo Lasmar, who manage two Arab community groups on Facebook, will discuss \u201cSocial media and the Arab descendant community in Brazil.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lebanon\u2019s Zamzam El Eter and Syria\u2019s Jumana Salama will discuss \u201cImmigrant Stories\u201d in interview format. Belly dancing performances will feature Jade Bellydance, in one session, and Banat El sharkiat, Samara Sayed and Aline Daudt in another. Elisa Quezado will also perform. Finally, musician Messer di Carlo will play a set on the darbuka, an Arab percussion instrument.
