The decision was made public following work by the Supreme Committee charged with addressing the pandemic, in tandem with the Ministry of Education\u2019s efforts to work with the schools in the 2020-2021 school year. <em>Pictured above is a Supreme Committee meeting. <\/em><\/p>\n<p>The state-run <a href=\"https:\/\/omannews.gov.om\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Oman News Agency<\/a>\u00a0reported that schools will reopen under a hybrid learning system that will combine in-school and online activities.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee will keep monitoring the situation via the Ministry of Education and other related departments. It will also keep track of epidemiological data from each of the countries provinces to ensure a safe learning experience for students.<\/p>\n<p>The Committee also reiterated its appeal to citizens and residents to keep taking precautions to curb the virus\u2019 spread.<\/p>\n<p>Oman\u2019s Supreme Committee had been looking into pandemic infection and death numbers in different provinces. It expressed concern over the behavior of individuals who participate in gatherings.
