S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Women leading micro, small and medium-sized companies can register for two training courses on ecommerce for exports by Prosperity Fund, a UK government\u2019s cooperation fund whose main goal is promoting sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction in developing countries.<\/p>\n
In Brazil, the Fund’s Trade Facilitation portfolio aims to support small-sized companies to export and have a better performance in the international market, with a special focus on businesses led by women and other minority groups. Two courses have opened registrations involving the use of ecommerce for exports.<\/p>\n
The course \u201cElectronic Trade Training for Export\u201d is focused on online sales to new markets, mainly in South America, and will run from November to December, including monitoring of activities implemented by the company in January and February 2021. The course is in Portuguese, online, with 180 hours. It is a partnership with the eCommerce Institute.<\/p>\n
The main topics will be demand in key markets, strategies for entering international markets via marketplaces or own store, logistics and payments management, online presence optimization, and foreign trade rules. The cost is BRL 11,000 (USD 2,000), but full scholarships will be awarded to micro and small companies. Deadline for registration is November 18.<\/p>\n
Registration is also open for the course \u201cTake Advantage of Global Markets to Reach the Americas Markets on Board Ebay,\u201d to run in November 2020 and March 2021. It will include seven online workshops, 5-hour individual training and personalized follow-up, in English.<\/p>\n
EBay is one of the world’s largest marketplaces. The course is focused on how to boost your sales to the United States and Latin American countries through an eBay online store. Training and workshop are free, but there are only five places. Deadline for registration is November 18.<\/p>\n
