Revenues climbed 12.4% in October from a year ago, and 7.35% in July from September.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur year-to-date results reflects how the consumer behaved during the pandemic, prioritizing the consumption at home, and the emergency aid,\u201d ABRAS chairman Jo\u00e3o Sanzovo Neto was quoted as saying in a press release. The emergency aid is a monthly financial aid provided by the Brazilian government to low-income families during the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The increase in sales at supermarkets is higher than the 3.9% ABRAS expected last January.
