Sales amounted to 14.9 million tons, a monthly record.<\/p>\n<p>Year-to-date, however, exports slid by 5%, according to the Anec\u2019s website, to 20.4 million tons in Q1 2021, from 21.6 million tons in Q1 2020. Sales were weaker in January, and marginally so in February.<\/p>\n<p>The top destination for Brazilian soya in Q1 was China, which took in 72% of total exports.
