{"id":292045,"date":"2021-04-28T16:53:21","date_gmt":"2021-04-28T19:53:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/?p=292045"},"modified":"2021-04-30T17:45:21","modified_gmt":"2021-04-30T20:45:21","slug":"brazilian-website-now-offering-online-courses-on-lebanon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/brazilian-website-now-offering-online-courses-on-lebanon\/","title":{"rendered":"Brazilian website now offering online courses on Lebanon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 The website \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.euamoolibano.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eu amo o L\u00edbano<\/a>\u201d (Brazilian Portuguese for I Love Lebanon), which sells items that somehow reference the Arab country since last May, launched an online course platform on April 15. \u201cWe felt the community would like this service, so we created a platform called <a href=\"https:\/\/clubeeuamoolibano.com.br\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Clube Eu Amo o L\u00edbano<\/a>,\u201d the portal\u2019s founder and businessman Luciano Aschkar told ANBA. His partner is businessman and publicist Gabriel Maluf Jacob.<\/p>\n<p>The classes available are Lebanese Arabic, Arab cuisine, history and tourism, and belly dance. \u201cThe Arabic course, mostly Lebanese, is an activity that arises quite an interest, as beyond the culture, speaking and understanding Arabic is a way to honor our background. People are very proud,\u201d Aschkar said.<\/p>\n<p>The classes on history and tourism are recorded directly from Lebanon. \u201cThis arises quite an interest, too. Many people haven\u2019t gone to Lebanon, and this is an option in times of pandemic and restricted travel,\u201d he pointed out. The cuisine classes include typical Lebanese dishes cooked in restaurants in Lebanon by renowned chefs and feature translation into Brazilian Portuguese. \u201cAs for belly dance, although it\u2019s not Lebanese for nature, it\u2019s also greatly appreciated by the community, and online classes makes people less inhibited,\u201d Aschkar believes.<\/p>\n<p>All classes are recorded, and you can subscribe in each individual course or a comprehensive plan that encompasses all four courses. The plans are annual, and you can watch the classes as many times you want on your phone or your computer. Subscribers can contact the teachers via email to ask questions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are on the 1<sup>st<\/sup> module of each course. Each module comprises 52 video lessons, which are updated every week,\u201d Aschkar explained.
