The webinar is aimed at Sudanese companies that want to approach Brazil-based companies. The lectures will be in Portuguese and English and feature translation into both languages. Registration is open. <em>Pictured above, Kartoum<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The event \u201cSudan: Technologies and Business Partnerships Opportunities for the Brazilian and Sudanese Companies\u201d is held by the <strong>Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC) in partnership with the Afro Brazilian Chamber of Commerce (AfroChamber). The event was first suggested by the Brazilian ambassador to Kartoum, Patr\u00edcia Lima.<\/p>\n<p>According to ABCC secretary-general &amp; CEO Tamer Mansour, now is the time to address the changes in Sudan and present them to Brazilian companies. The country has gone through a new economic phase since late last year, when the United States removed Sudan from the \u201cStates Sponsors of Terrorism\u201d list, thus lifting sanctions on countries and companies that trade with Sudan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019ll be very helpful for Brazilian companies that want to work with this market and we\u2019ve certainly identified clear opportunities for exporting agriculture machinery and general machinery to Sudan, but we also believe there\u2019re strategic partnerships to be established in that country.
