The meeting was attended by representatives of the Brazilian Coffee Exporters Council (Cecaf\u00e9), Brazil\u2019s Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (MAPA), Brazil Specialty Coffee Association (BSCA), and importers Hussain Al Musa and Emad Almasri.<\/p>\n<p>The institutions have worked on promoting the Brazilians coffee in the <a href=\"https:\/\/anba.com.br\/en\/brazilian-coffee-promotion-work-to-target-saudi-arabia\/\">Saudi market<\/a>, Cecaf\u00e9 CEO Marcos Matos told ANBA. BSCA director Vanusia Nogueira said the specialty coffee association could help organize the trip to the farms.<\/p>\n<p>Leading the meeting was Brazil\u2019s agricultural attach\u00e9 in Riyadh, Marcel Moreira Pinto, and the coordinator of Branding and Exporting Culture of the Department of Trade and Investment Promotion (DPR) at MAPA, Carolina Euf\u00eamia Aquino de S\u00e1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saudi preferences<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>According to the Saudi buyers, the major coffee supplier to the Arab country is now Ethiopia.
