It is the second year the event takes place over the internet due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Called #ShineOnLebanon, the festival will feature musical concerts recorded in the ruins of Roman temples in the Beqaa Valley.<\/p>\n<p>Lebanese classical, indie, folk, rock, pop, electro, hip hop, oriental, and jazz musicians and bands recorded performances about eight minutes long on a journey through all the archeological sites of Baalbeck and the Beqaa. Among the backdrops will be the Temple of Venus, the Stone of the Pregnant Woman, the Basilique Civique, and the Temples of Niha, Qsarnaba, Majed el Anjar and Ain Herch\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative aims to give visibility to the vibrant local music scene, encouraging Lebanese musicians, singers, and songwriters to showcase their talent and creativity. The festival is organized in collaboration with the Lebanese Directorate General of Antiquities. The information was released in Brazil by the Embassy of Lebanon in Bras\u00edlia.<\/p>\n<p>The event will stream for free at around 8:45 pm EEST\/GST, 2:45 pm BRT, on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCfIaICYQ7RllQjQLqAtqsOA\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">YouTube<\/a> and the festival\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/events\/498702914794302\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">social network pages<\/a>.
