The measure was issued by the General Directorate of Passports of Saudi Arabia&#8217;s Minister of Finance, the Arab country\u2019s official news agency <em>SPA<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<p>Without collecting no fees or charges, the action will extend visas for all expatriates until August 31. This comes in implementation of the directives of king Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. <em>SPA<\/em> reported that this extension comes among the efforts of the kingdom\u2019s government to deal with the economic effects of COVID-19 pandemic. It also falls within precautionary and preventive measures that guarantee the safety of citizens and residents as the process will be carried out electronically.<\/p>\n<p>The extension will be in cooperation with Saudi Arabia\u2019s National Information Center without the need to visit the departments of passports.
