The information was announced this Wednesday (18) on the website of the Arab country\u2019s official news agency, Emirates News Agency (<a href=\"http:\/\/wam.ae\/en\/details\/1395302961496\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WAM<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The agreement will allow Emirates\u2019 passengers to connect to eight cities in Brazil via S\u00e3o Paulo. Connecting flights will be issued in a single ticket, according to Emirates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrazil is an important market for Emirates, and our codeshare with Azul reinforces our commitment to strengthening our reach in the region and opening up more options for our customers,\u201d said the airline\u2019s commercial director, Adnan Kazim, in a statement. Azul\u2019s Chief Revenue Officer, Abhi Shah, stated the partnership would benefit Azul\u2019s customers with unparalleled connectivity in Brazil and abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Emirates has codeshare agreements with 21 partner airlines. The company currently operates five nonstop flights every week between S\u00e3o Paulo and Dubai. The aircraft used for flights to Brazil is the widebody Boeing 777-300ER.
