In some cases, countries do digitalize the documents but still supplement the process with physical verification. The process will be carried out through Easy Trade, a blockchain system part of the ABCC\u2019s Ellos platform. The digital documents are electronically made available for checking and validation by the authorities in the country of destination for the cargo.<\/p>\n<p>Mansour told ANBA that with the integration, exporters would have faster, easier, and cheaper clearance. \u201cIt will reduce the time for dispatching the goods and the cost of paperwork,\u201d said the secretary-general. He believes the facilitation will encourage Brazilian exports to Jordan. Among other benefits, Qudah said the electronic connection between the two parties would facilitate and simplify the procedures for importing and exporting goods. He also said the initiative aligns with Jordanian King Abdullah II\u2019s vision of strengthening the partnership between the public and private sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Brazil exported to the Jordanian market from January to July this year USD 142 million in goods, especially poultry, beef, corn, and coffee. Jordan, in turn, sold to the Brazilians USD 54.4 million in products such as fertilizers, inputs for fertilizers, garlic, and clothing.
