Foreign sales were up 34.5% from a year ago, despite a month-on-month 13.1% decrease. Year to date, 42,765 motorcycles were exported, up 79.8%.<\/p>\n<p>Abraciclo chairman Marcos Fermanian said that the increased foreign business is a direct reflect of the economic recovery of the South America countries following a crisis period and the most acute stage of the health crisis ushered in by the coronavirus. \u201cIt\u2019s worthy reminding that the motorcycles manufactured in Brazil have been well received in the US market, proving the high value added of the national product,\u201d he was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n<p>The motorcycle production in the Industrial Complex of Manaus declined by 11.9% in September from August, to 108,948 units. Year on year, it was up 3.7%. Year to date, 896,558 units were manufactured, up 29.3% from a year ago.
