Dubai \u2013 Brazilian companies are in Dubai seeking to place their products in Arab wholesale and retail. Among the companies taking part in the mission organized by the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC) to the United Arab Emirates and Qatar, which began on Sunday (31), are some that do not yet sell to the region but are on the way to enter the market.<\/p>\n

Zoo Flora, an animal nutrition company, and JCF Embalagens, a packaging company, are among them. The CBO of Zoo Flora, Rafaella Gomes, stated the company\u2019s production is aimed at feed, whether for beef and dairy cattle, poultry, sheep, goats, horses, among other animals. The company is headquartered in An\u00e1polis, in the state of Goi\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Zoo Flora imports some raw materials from Russia, and this movement drove the interest in exporting. \u201cWe know the Arab world has strong ties with Brazil, and we see an opportunity in foreign trade. Our goal is to export animal nutrition according to their consumption,\u201d said Gomes to ANBA.<\/p>\n

Zoo Flora also produces customized formulas according to customer demand. \u201cAnd we want to do the same here,\u201d said Gomes. \u201cWe are doing market research. We went to the supermarket and saw where eggs, milk, and meat come from. Now we know Saudi Arabia has dairy and beef cattle, and here in the UAE, they have many farms,\u201d she said. Zoo Flora intends to export to Arab countries like the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and Qatar.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe want to export in the animal nutrition sector, and we want to have halal certification. We came to explore this market,\u201d she concluded. This Monday (1), among other activities, the executive accompanied the visit of the Brazilian mission to a farm inside a container in Abu Dhabi. Gomes declared she found it interesting to learn about the technologies used to produce in a country with a desert climate.<\/p>\n

Josiel Feliciano, CEO of JCF Embalagens (pictured in the opening<\/em>), is participating in the mission to internationalize the packaging company. JCF offers a wide range of products, including cardboard and micro offset boxes, corrugated flexography boxes, products for the promotional graphic sector, blow and injected packaging, packaging seals and heat shrink sleeves, plastic packaging, and technical films. They range from labels to boxes.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere are already many companies marketing their products in this sector, but there are always opportunities,\u201d stated Feliciano to ANBA on the second day of the mission in the UAE. The executive said he has deals about to be closed in the region. After the mission with the ABCC, Feliciano will travel to Egypt. \u201cI intend to start importing bottles from there,\u201d he said, noting he will include the bottles in his product mix.<\/p>\n
