This month, Brazilian sales to foreign countries have totalled US$ 7.990 billion, and purchases from foreign countries, US$ 6.949 billion.<\/p>\n<p> In the accumulated result for the year so far, up until the third week of March, the trade surplus is US$ 2.284 billion, a figure 1.8% lower than recorded in the same period of last year (US$ 2.327 billion).
