The country will be the first Middle East country to ever host the world\u2019s largest football event.<\/p>\n<p>With this, the company will be able to give access to game tickets to its customers and present a series of exclusive actions and content over the next year. According to the fintech, by 2019 the company had received eight investment rounds and two more extensions, which are major financial contributions.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement, the company said that supporting this competition is an opportunity to get even closer to our customers. \u201cFootball has, unlike any other sport, the power to unite people around the world, but especially so in South America. We want to be part of this moment and contribute so that everyone in our region can experience the thrill of a new FIFA World Cup, where we will have many reasons to celebrate,\u201d Arturo Nu\u00f1ez, Nubank\u2019s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) was quoted as saying.<\/p>\n<p>Nubank was founded in Brazil in May 2013 by Colombia\u2019s David V\u00e9lez, United States\u2019 Edward Wibble, and Brazil\u2019s Cristina Junqueira. In Brazil the brand has over 48 million clients. The fintech now operates in Mexico and Colombia, too.<\/p>\n<p>The international competition is organized by the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA).
