The average occupancy rate rose to 78.8%, in October with Dubai recording the highest rate of 80.7%.<\/p>\n<p>In the year-to-date to October, the emirate of Ajman recorded a 78% occupancy rate, the highest of all the emirates, according to data published by real estate investment firm CBRE.<\/p>\n<p>Year to date, hotels in Dubai, <strong>Fujairah<\/strong> and Ajman recorded increases in average daily rates (ADR) of 15%, 13.8% and 4% respectively. Overall, the country has seen its ADR increase by 13.6%.<\/p>\n<p>Revenue per available room across the country rose by 44.9% year-on-year in the year to date to October. \u201cWith growing international visitation, an increasing number of global locations re-entering lockdowns and a number of planned events at Expo 2020, we envisage both international and domestic leisure tourism, combined with returning corporate tourism,\u201d Taimur Khan, head of research for the MENA region at CBRE in <strong>Dubai<\/strong>, said.<\/p>\n<p>According to the <em>Arabian Business<\/em>, the rebound in tourism comes as <strong>Dubai International Airport<\/strong> has also seen a sustained recovery over recent months.<\/p>\n<p>In the month-to-date to November 21 compared to the year earlier period, Dubai\u2019s percentage increase in the average number of daily flights was almost three times higher than the 33.7% increase seen globally.
