During the second week, exports reached US$ 2.494 billion, and imports, US$ 1.745 billion. In the first week of April, the surplus was US$ 588 million.<\/p>\n<p> So far this month, exports total US$ 4.245 billion, and imports, US$ 2.908 billion. In the accumulated result for the year, the trade surplus is US$ 4.349 billion, as against US$ 3.922 billion from January to the second week of April 2008.
