The information was released by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bna.bh\/en\/Bahrainsindustrialstrategyhighlighted.aspx?cms=q8FmFJgiscL2fwIzON1%2bDsAd2MD5%2bsVfirLeCP3fCk4%3d\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bahrain News Agency<\/a>, the country\u2019s official news agency.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release, the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB) issued a statement expressing confidence in the plan\u2019s viability. \u201cThe <strong>strategy<\/strong> would contribute to developing the industrial sector, consolidating Bahrain\u2019s economic situation, and creating jobs in the local market as part of the diversification policy,\u201d said the statement issued by the EDB.<\/p>\n<p>The focus of action would be to transform the sector to enter the Fourth Industrial Revolution, including the circular economy, environmental and social governance, and encouraging investment in technological infrastructure and digitization of manufacturing.<\/p>\n<p>The EDB statement also mentioned the importance of the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Tourism in cooperation with the public and private sectors.
