The information was released to the press by the PF, which clarified the goal is to dismantle criminal organizations.<\/p>\n<p>In one of the operations, called <strong>Turfe<\/strong>, the forecast was to fulfill 20 arrest warrants and 30 search and seizure warrants in five Brazilian states, in addition to police cooperation measures in Paraguay, Spain, and the <strong>UAE<\/strong>. The investigation is about a group responsible for acquiring drugs in producing countries and the internationalization and logistics of storing and exporting them to European countries.<\/p>\n<p>According to information from the Federal Police, Brazilian and foreign authorities acted in cooperation in the international field, optimizing results achieved against criminals. The name of the operation (\u201cturf\u201d) refers to one of the organization\u2019s forms of money laundering, which is the acquisition and trading of <strong>racehorses<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The other operation is <strong>Brutium<\/strong>, for which 19 arrest warrants and 17 search and seizure warrants were expected to be conducted in three Brazilian states. The focus of the investigation is the fight against the international trafficking of cocaine for shipments from Bolivia and Peru to European countries. The PF informed the investigative work had the collaboration of France, <strong>Morocco<\/strong>, Belgium, Spain, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) of the United States.
