S\u00e3o Paulo \u2013 Business opportunities and advantages in the United Arab Emirates will be the subject of a seminar next Tuesday (8), from 9:30 am to 11:00 am, at the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce<\/strong> (ABCC) headquarters, in the city of S\u00e3o Paulo. The ABCC will host the event in partnership with the Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (KIZAD), a free trade zone in the UAE that houses companies and functions as a trade, logistics, and manufacturing hub.<\/p>\n

The seminar \u201cBusiness Opportunities and Advantages in the UAE\u201d will only occur in-person, without an online version, and registration is open for interested companies (contact details below).<\/em> Participants will be required to present proof of vaccination against COVID-19 to enter the event. Simultaneous translation into English and Portuguese will be available. The KIZAD<\/strong> mission will be in Brazil, led by the commercial director Khalid Al Marzooqi (opening picture) <\/em>who will speak at the event.<\/p>\n

The meeting aims to connect Brazilian companies with KIZAD to promote their business and relationships in the UAE<\/strong> market. KIZAD houses companies with different profiles and countries of origin, including Brazilian ones. BRF, a prominent animal protein producer from Brazil, has a processing unit in the Abu Dhabi industrial zone.<\/p>\n

Brazilian companies have a relevant market share in the UAE, and many use the country as a business and product distribution hub in the region. Last year, Brazil exported<\/strong> USD 2.3 billion to the UAE, with a 13% growth over 2020. The main products shipped were beef and poultry protein, gold, sugar, chemical wood pulp, iron ore, tobacco, iron and steel, and pepper.<\/p>\n

In addition to participating in the seminar on Tuesday, KIZAD executives will partake other activities in Brazil next week as part of their mission to the country. The Abu Dhabi free trade zone team makes regular visits to Brazil and has already held other seminars in previous years in partnership with the ABCC.<\/p>\n
